Custom domain
How links work today
Every published experience is served from Kioo’s player domain with its own stable slug — the link you get in the publish dialog. That link and its QR code are permanent and need no setup: publish, share, done.
Branded links and domains
A branded custom link or your own custom domain is a plan feature, arranged with the Kioo team rather than toggled in the studio today. There is no self-serve custom-domain setting in the editor yet. If you need experiences to live under your own domain — for a campaign or a client — get in touch and we will set up the routing for your account.
Custom domains are part of the Studio plan. This page will gain a step-by-step setup once the self-serve flow ships; until then it is configured with us directly, so we can point the domain at your experiences correctly.
What stays the same
Moving to a custom link or domain does not break anything you have already shared. An experience keeps its stable slug, so its content resolves the same way regardless of the domain in front of it — the important thing for any QR codes already in the wild is the slug, and that never changes.
Plan the domain before a big print run if you can. Existing Kioo links keep working either way, but new print looks cleanest pointing at the address you want long-term.
