Record and share
Share the link
A Share button sits in the corner of the live experience. Tapping it opens the phone’s share sheet so the viewer can send the link by message, email, or social apps. On a device without a share sheet, it copies the link to the clipboard instead.
Record a clip
A Record button lets the viewer capture what is on screen while the AR is running. Tap once to start, tap again to stop, and Kioo hands them a short video to save or share. Recording stops on its own after fifteen seconds so clips stay small.
The clip is recorded as an MP4 at a high bitrate, so it looks clean and drops straight into Instagram, WhatsApp, Snapchat, or X. When the viewer taps to send it, the phone’s own share sheet opens with those apps listed — the same sheet they use for photos — so sharing is native, not a Kioo re-upload.
Recording uses the phone’s built-in capture. On the few browsers that do not support it, the Record button simply does not appear; Share still works everywhere.
See it in analytics
Every share and every recording is counted for you. Open your dashboard and look at the Recorded and shared card to see how often people are passing your experience around, alongside views and interactions.
Sharing is one of the strongest signals that an experience landed. If a campaign is getting shared a lot, it is worth making more like it.
